A STORY OF CELEBRATION

ZAKUSKA was born from celebrations around my parents’ dinner table.

Stories and jokes, heartfelt toasts and songs, all accompanied by delicious food and punctuated by cold shots of vodka.

ZAKUSKA isn’t like an ordinary, neutral vodka. We’ve distilled it from a mix of soft red winter wheat and corn, and left it unfiltered so a balance of flavors comes through with every chilled shot.

UNFILTERED VODKA MADE FOR SHARING

From a young age I remember my parents having parties with lots of food, and cold bottles of vodka on the table.

People would pour a shot, say a toast or recite a poem and everyone would drink and eat and sing.

Once I was older and could join in, I really started to love that way of enjoying vodka. My friends would come over when my parents had parties and we would have a blast joining in as well.

Because they had such an influence on me and the idea, my parents are on the label of the bottle. My dad is the bartender and my mom is at the bar.
